The Floating MC–IC Axis

$30.00

with Kelly Surtess and Frank Clifford

Modern astrologers tend to favour quadrant house systems, where each of the four angles begins one of the four angular houses. But the two oldest systems of house division (Equal and Whole Sign) calculate charts with an MC–IC axis that ‘floats’ – most commonly across the 8th–2nd, 9th–3rd, 10th–4th or 11th–5th houses. Can we use this information to aid interpretation? And what are the astrological differences between the zenith and the MC, and the nadir and the IC?

Join Kelly and Frank for this new session and bring your charts.

Cleared up some questions I had

I have been pondering either using a whole sign or equal house system, and this webinar addressed that primary concern of the IC/MC axis. I got a lot out of this talk, and was blown away by the idea that the year when a floating MC would hit the 10th house cusp in Equal houses had significance. It did for me, at any rate. Dang!!!

Floating MC/IC

If you use a house system where the MC/IC can move from house to houses this class clarifies the difference between the 10th house and the MC. It also addresses the broader context of the IC as part of understanding the MC.

Excellent!

This webinar contains information that, although it doesn’t seem to be well known, is some of the most useful, important, and eye-opening information an astrologer can have to apply to chart analysis. Excellent, indeed!
