The Grand Trine is an aspect pattern that links at least 3 planets by the trine aspect. The trine is often described as especially harmonious, and this aspect pattern suggests access to an inner and outer state of ease and flow relative to the planets involved.
In a perfect grand trine by sign, three trines in the same element come together to form a Grand Trine. When we draw a line to connect these planets in the center of the birth chart, we see a triangle. The implication is that this pattern denotes access to an energy resource, almost like an inner generator that can be turned on or tapped into when needed.
Unlike the t-square, which calls us to action through friction, the grand trine suggests gifts, talents or ease that we might take for granted.
