with Arielle Guttman
In this webinar Arielle shares how she works with a set of asteroids and other points in the context of locational astrology. She will include the major asteroids Vesta, Juno, Ceres and Pallas in addition to Eris, Black Moon, Hygeia and others. How might Ceres operate when it is descending over a particular place? Or the Black Moon, whose local space line runs through the place at which you are considering a move?
In this presentation Arielle will define the meanings of these points to consider in location, as well as demonstrate various mapping techniques to delineate the richness and subtleties that a particular location might offer an individual.
Many astrologers have made use of the technique of chart relocation in one form or another. Perhaps the most well-known of these was developed and trademarked by Jim Lewis, called Astro*Carto*Graphy. Arielle has worked with this system since the mid-1980s when she was certified by Jim Lewis in San Francisco. Additionally, she has delved into other methods of Astro mapping, including local space, the relocation chart, and geodetics.
Arielle has found that planets, as well as nodes and asteroids, operate quite profoundly in these locational maps and calls them “Planets on the Landscape”; i.e. Venus-Midheaven over London = Venus presiding on the landscape of London, extending out for about a 500-mile radius, east or west of the line.
