Beth Scannell has been studying astrology for many years and graduated from the Astrology University Professional Astrologer program in 2023. She began her astrology and tarot practice in 2021 and most enjoys helping others navigate through major life cycles, turning points, and tricky life passages. Beth currently serves on the executive board of Astrology Toronto and is available for consultations through her website.

It is my life passion to translate the divine destiny embedded within each of our lives. Decoding our cosmic orientation can help us to better understand our core construct : including, the past that we stand upon and the future that we are moving towards. We cannot change the future through the use of Astrology. However, the use of Astrology can help us to move through life with a greater understanding of the potential gifts and challenges that lie before us.

After having my first reading in 2012 I became fascinated with Astrology. Since that time I have had many readings with different astrologers with different perspectives. The program offered through Astrology University helped me understand from my own perspective the benefits of using astrology when faced with challenges in our daily lives. Life can be difficult at times especially when we lose something dear to us or are faced with daunting responsibility for something outside of ourselves. Astrology offers a pathway for the labyrinth we face navigating through life. I have found the study of astrology to be never ending and will continue this study indefinitely.

Healing isn’t always a fast process: your mind and body often have completely different ideas of what that means. To our minds, ‘healing’ is often completed when we no longer feel the pain. But the pain can be much deeper than we are consciously aware of. While I listen to your words I am also always listening in to what your body is communicating. My work isn’t about “fixing” you but to help facilitate your own healing by holding space and help guide your body and mind through the process into your fully integrated transformation.

In eastern philosophy, man is thought to be the pivot point between heaven and earth. We are animal bodies inhabited by spirit. As an acupuncturist and herbalist for over 20 years, I have spent my life in the realm of earth and the body. Several years ago, I encountered challenges in life that weren’t readily solved by the tools that I had at hand. Seeking something to provide some context for my experience, I turned towards astrology. It helped me understand what I was facing and the opportunities for growth that lied therein. Now I turn my gaze upwards and look towards the cosmos. I’m filled with such a sense of comfort in knowing that we are embedded in a highly organized, coherent, interdependent and intelligent universe. I want others to experience that same sense of wonder and awe.
