The t-square is an aspect pattern that gets a lot of attention due to its combination of two squares plus an opposition – aspects that are known to come with some challenges. But did you know that people with t-squares are often unusually productive? The tension behind this dynamic aspect patterns tends to lead to action.
When we experience friction in our lives, we don’t tend to just sit with it, or hope it will go away “someday”. We want to do something to shift that uncomfortable experience. This can correlate with squares in our chart, and is underscored when there’s a t-square between 3 (or more) planets. The t-square can point to an energetic resource that can be transformative, and our response to the edginess contained within it can lead to action and ultimately, resolution.
T-squares often dominate our experience, in part because they link several planets and houses through rulership. This often shows up visibly in a person’s major life stories or character traits.
