The wild gyrations of this planetary combination shift something both for individuals and in the collective. Our growth follows a new orbital plane, a modified pulsation. Some of us are launched, others shaken down to Earth – and not all landings are soft. How do these Jupiter-Uranus activations work in individual charts?

Mythic, Cyclic, and Horoscopic Reflections
Cosmologically, the symmetry of the Jupiter/Uranus cycle is awe-inspiring. Each successive planetary pair conjunction forms a sequence of sextiles through the zodiac, like markers along an innovative and well-worn trail. Mythologically both are sky Gods; at times manic, yet highly creative and active. Olympian Jupiter is a grandson of Titan Uranus, so their generational attitudes and values can often be widely divergent.
Astrologically these two planets share an unrestrained, adventuresome, often stormy, character. This conjunction will be brought to life through images of social movements and political upheavals, voices for egalitarian reform and action, technical invention and discovery; however, this astrological moment is not only of interest collectively, but personally.
In this presentation, we will look at the way the cycle unfolds, its mythological underpinnings to help us imagine the alchemy of the combination, what archetypal patterns are awakened, and what this might mean personally in context of the times.

Reality: The Ultimate Innovation
This talk will explore the implications of the Jupiter Uranus conjunction in Taurus in Spring of 2024. Mark will show how the detached insight and x-ray vision of Uranus will expose the nature of our beliefs and prevailing world view as symbolised by Jupiter. The talk will go on to show how our world views, Jupiter, go on to shape our values (Taurus). We then explore this in reverse – how our values, Taurus, need to shape our worldview, Jupiter, to express our greatest wisdom, Uranus.
Although this conjunction occurs every 14 years, the significance of this current conjunction is heightened with the transition of Pluto into Aquarius – the sign ruled by Uranus in modern astrology. It’s almost as if this Jupiter Uranus conjunction of Spring 2024 heralds the arrival of Pluto in Aquarius and, as such, symbolises so much about our hopes and fears during this crucial Pluto transition.
In exploring the complex relationship between technology, the nature of our beliefs and the relationship of these to our values, Mark will raise the interesting question: is reality itself the innovation and in our battle to achieve technological and other forms of supremacy are we not in fact battling ourselves. It is within this battle with ourselves that the true key to innovation might be found – the transformation of our humanity.
We will look at historical trends with past Jupiter Uranus conjunctions as well as intimations of the future through collective and individual chart analysis to see how this conjunction might shape our lives. Join us for this innovative astrological meeting where together we can celebrate the conjunction and the potential it represents for the transformation of human consciousness.

For anyone with Jupiter-Uranus in aspect in their chart, what is the psychology behind this combination, its gifts and challenges, and the ancestral themes to which it might point? We’ll think too about the themes of Jupiter-Uranus as they unfold in our lives through its 14-year cycle.
I will then turn attention to the April 2024 conjunction in Taurus. We’ll explore the themes of the Jupiter-Uranus cycle in the collective and the possible meanings of the upcoming conjunction. Enriched with this understanding, I’ll then focus on the meaning of the conjunction for us as individuals, interpreting it through the 12 houses of the birth chart.
