getting to bOULDER
By Plane
Fly into Denver International Airport (code DEN).
From the Airport
Rent a car from the airport or take the bus from the airport to downtown Boulder. The bus runs hourly in both directions and is a great and easy option, although it’s not the fastest. If you arrive right after the bus departs, you may have to wait up to an hour for the next one. The ride will take about 50 minutes to an hour. Uber or Lyft are available from the airport into Boulder but are expensive (about 45 minute drive).
Rental cars are available in Boulder for a much cheaper rate than the airport, which has a high surcharge. It’s possible to take the bus to Boulder and pick up your rental car here. It can save The highway from the airport to Boulder is a toll road, and you will be billed automatically for those extra charges.

Getting Around
Renting a car is best if you are able to. But it’s possible to get around without a car. Public transport isn’t bad, especially along Broadway north and south. A combo of public transport and ride sharing with Lyft or Uber could serve you well if you factor in a little extra time.
